Click & Collect T&Cs

Click & Collect for orders placed Wednesday - Friday will be ready to collect between 10am and 4pm. On Saturdays your order will be ready to collect 11am - 6pm.

Please note we cannot offer collections outside of the allocated time slot, and if you are late, there is no guarantee anyone will be in the store for you to collect. Rebakers are not responsible if you are late to collect and are closed - your goods are baked fresh for this allocated date/time.

If you do not collect or you collect days later, and the goods are not as fresh, this is not a reason for refund/exchange, due to no error on Rebakers behalf.
You agree to these T&Cs when placing your order.

Postal T&Cs

All of our baked goods, other than cupcakes, can be posted via royal mail direct to your doorstep! Which means you don’t even have to leave your home for brownies, blondies, millionaire shortbread, rocky roads and other sweet treats. Sounds like heaven, doesn’t it?

We offer two forms of postage
1st Class Recorded (£4.95 up to 1kg) – this is a first class recorded service, and Royal Mail aim to deliver within one working day, once your order has been posted. All orders are posted the same day you place your order. This is not a guaranteed service, therefore next day delivery is not guaranteed.

Special Delivery (£9.00 up to 1kg) - This is a guaranteed service, and your order will arrive on Friday.

Please note some items are over this weight, therefore will take you up to the next bracket. Your postage will also be more if you order more than one box, due to weight.

Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive a shipping confirmation along with a tracking number. Using this number, you’ll be able to track your order on the Royal Mail website here - https://www3.royalmail.com/track-your-item

Once your order has been fulfilled and a tracking number supplied, your order is now out of my hands. I ask you to keep an eye on your order via the tracking number. If you have not received a tracking number please feel free to email, and I will be able to send you your tracking number.

Please note, with the 1st class recorded service not being a guaranteed day delivery service and the current Covid-19 situation slowing parcels down in some areas, that you keep an eye on tracking, and have patience with Royal Mail.

In the unlikely circumstances that your parcel becomes missing in transit, you will take on the responsibility to claim this direct through Royal Mail.

Design
It is your responsibility to read & check the wedding cake order form thoroughly; any amendments to design should be made in writing or email.
If requested, we will endeavour to adjust the design where possible, but sometimes this is not possible according to the nature of the request or amount of notice given. If the alteration affects the cost, or preparation work for the original design has already been undertaken, then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
In very rare circumstances we reserve the right to change the design at any point if circumstances beyond our control, may compromise the quality of the finished cake, e.g. Melting due to weather. You will be given notice of any changes made. Unfortunately we are unable to take any responsibility for venues without air conditioning should the cake melt once set up.

Each cake is made individually by hand, so although every effort is made to ensure consistency, a small amount of variation may occur from the design requested / picture supplied.
Delivery
Delivery charges are calculated on a mileage and time basis. Alternatively, cakes can be collected from our premises.
If you choose delivery, it is our intention that your cake will be delivered in perfect condition prior to the start of your event. However we ask for patience with factors that may be beyond our control (e.g. traffic conditions) as we cannot be held liable for any such delays. It is your responsibility to ensure you inform us of your correct ceremony and event time plus the postcode of the venue.
We cannot be held liable for any damage that is rendered to the cake at the venue once we have left the premises. It is with this in mind that we require somebody responsible, to check that they are happy with the cake before we leave.
If you chose to collect the cake, we will not be held liable for any damage to the cake once it has left our premises. Tiered cakes are most at risk during transport; we highly recommend you check your wedding insurance covers cake damage. To ensure your cake is as fresh as possible, we recommend it be collected the day before the wedding.
Best Before
Your cake is baked to ensure it is fresh for the date of your event, we cannot guarantee its quality if it’s consumed more than 48 hours after the event. Our cakes are made entirely of natural ingredients, so we’d like to remind you that because of this they will not have the extended shelf life of most supermarket cakes, which contain additives and preservatives to ensure their prolonged life. Freezing the cake however, preserves the taste of the sponge and icing as much as feasibly possible, but please bear in mind that it will affect the visual appearance of the icing, as condensation will form upon defrosting.
Food hygiene recommendations recommend that food should only be frozen for a maximum of 3 months
If you plan to keep any of the cakes tiers, please advise us what cake boxes you would like to be left on site (so that you can safely transport them the following day). Otherwise we shall remove all cake boxes from the venue to ensure we leave it as tidy as possible.
